What Is the Residency Program?
Our Residency Program is designed for newly licensed cosmetologists who are ready to bridge the gap between beauty school and a successful salon career. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured education, residents build confidence, refine their technical skills, and gain the real-world experience needed to thrive behind the chair. This program is intended for emerging stylists looking to grow, learn, and develop a strong foundation before stepping onto the salon floor as a commissioned stylist.
How Long Does the Program Take?
The Residency Program typically takes between 4–6 months to complete. We understand that every individual learns at a different pace, which is why our management team works closely with each resident through one-on-one guidance and progress check-ins. Our goal is to create a learning experience that is both manageable and effective—giving residents enough time to absorb information, master techniques, and gain confidence, while ensuring they can begin building their career without unnecessary delays.
Why Do We Have a Residency Program?
We believe confidence comes from preparation. Our Residency Program was created to help new stylists gain hands-on experience, strengthen their technical abilities, and become comfortable working in a professional salon environment before taking clients independently.
By the time residents graduate from the program, they have a strong understanding of salon operations, guest experience, team culture, and service execution. Rather than being left to navigate the industry alone, residents are equipped with the tools, support, and experience needed to begin their career with confidence and a clear path toward success.
Is the Residency Program Paid?
Yes. Unlike many salon training programs, our Residency Program is a paid position.
We believe that investing in the next generation of beauty professionals is important, and residents deserve to be compensated while they learn, grow, and contribute to the salon. Throughout the program, residents receive hands-on education, personalized mentorship, real salon experience, and paid training—allowing them to focus on developing their skills while earning an income.
